Denne bluse fra White Linen-serien er syet af en damaskvævet dug i bondestil med vide ærmer samlet med elastik ved manchetten og med vidde i selve blusen. Et smalt hattebånd er trukket gennem halsudskæringen, som du kan samle tæt eller lade være åbent over nøgne skuldre, ganske som du synes.

Damask-vævet stof falder tungt og luksuriøst om kroppen, og krøller mere end almindeligt vævet bomuld, ganske som f.eks. hør gør det. Så enten skal man stryge — eller værdsætte det casual ferie-look, som damask naturligt er.

This blouse from the White Linen series is made from a damask-woven tablecloth in a rustic style, with wide sleeves gathered with elastic at the cuff and generous volume through the body. A narrow ribbon is threaded through the neckline, which you can tie close or leave open over bare shoulders — entirely as you please.

Damask-woven fabric falls heavy and luxurious against the body, and creases more than a plain-woven cotton — much like linen does. So either you iron it, or you embrace the effortlessly casual holiday look that damask naturally lends itself to.
